Recent Status: A rare species in Suffolk.

Life Style: A single brooded species that is found in June. The larvae feed on flowers and seed heads of Jasione. The larvae hibernate in a cocoon on the ground where they pupate.

Identification: This species is similar to C. molliculana but less extensively marked. It has a pale head and grey marked thorax. The dorsal patch is less extensive than in C. molliculana and it lacks the characteristic marking along the termen of that species. It has dark cilia. More Info
