Recent Status: The species is found across Suffolk where the foodplant grows.

Life Style: A single brooded night flying species that comes to light during June, July and August. The larvae feed from spinnings on Cytisus, Ulex or Genista tinctoria leaves, twigs and flowers. They pupate at the feeding location.

Identification: This species is an overall grey colour marked with darker grey, sometimes with an ochreous tinge. It does not have any of the bold markings of A. innoxiella. More Info
