Recent Status: A rare species in Suffolk.

Life Style: Single brooded and night flying coming to light during summer. The larvae feed during the following year on Angelica sylvestris and also Heraclieum and Thyselium from a conspicuous bunching of younger leaves.

Identification: A rounded winged species. It is shade of brown with a pale head and thorax. The forewings are mottled darker and show the pair of Agonopterix black dots and a prominent central suffusion. More Info
