Recent Status: Few Suffolk records.

Life Style: A single brooded species that can be found in July and August. The larvae feed on the seeds of Artemisia vulgaris. The case is a seed with calyx. They hibernate fully fed and pupate in the case low down on the plant.

Identification: The moth is a greyish ochre species with pale stripes and scattered darker scales. It can be identified by genitalia dissection. More Info
The larvae can be found by searching for holes in the side of eaten seeds and then hopefully a portable seed case. More Info
