Recent Suffolk Status: Very common.
Life history: Triple-brooded. Can be seen at rest during the day on walls and fences, at dusk on flowers and commonly at light. Larvae can be found feeding on many flowers including garden plants.
Identification: Wing shape and 'double'stripe' should make this unmistakeable.
Habitat: A wide variety of habitats including gardens.Recorded in 54 (93%) of 58 10k Squares.
