Morley’s Final Catalogue: Euston in 1933 and bred from yarrow at both Boyton and Snape in 1931-2 (Whittingham).
Recent Status: Occurs across Suffolk but is not common.
Life Style: A single brooded species flying during June, July and August. The larvae feed on the rootstock of Achillea and Tanecetum. They hibernate and pupate in the larval habitation.
Identification: This is a very variable Dichrorampha species. It can be recognised by the very oblique and narrow dorsal blotch, though its colour and clarity varies.
