Morley’s Final Catalogue: Frequent among Fragaria. Ipswich and Bentley, usually on hawthorn (Whit.); Southwold in 1897, common at Flixton near-Bungay in May and June 1891 (Ctw).

Recent Status: This species is recorded commonly in Suffolk.

Life Style: The species has been recorded from April to September. The larvae feed on Crataegus, Sorbus torminalis and occasionally Fragaria vesca and Sorbus aucuparia.
