Recent Status: A recent record as a mine at North Warren, Suffolk 26th October 2015
Life Style: A double brooded species that can be found from May till August. The larvae mine leaves of Lotus corniculatus and L. pedunculatus. They pupate on or away from the foodplant.
Identification: This is a very small moth with darker grey fore- and hind-wings than the similar L. malifoliella. There is a broad orange band between the grey proximal part and distal strigulated part this may also be present above the tornal spot as in L. malifoliella.
