Morley’s Final Catalogue: A very local species with us. Found at Tuddenham (Warren).

Recent Status: A recent record as a mine at North Warren, Suffolk 26th October 2015

Life Style: A double brooded species that can be found from May till August. The larvae mine leaves of Lotus corniculatus and L. pedunculatus. They pupate on or away from the foodplant.

Identification: This is a very small moth with darker grey fore- and hind-wings than the similar L. malifoliella. There is a broad orange band between the grey proximal part and distal strigulated part this may also be present above the tornal spot as in L. malifoliella. More Info
The larval mine is a blotch with the frass arranged spirally but mainly accumulated centrally. More Info .
