Morley’s Final Catalogue: Not listed.

Recent Status: Recorded as an immigrant species.

Life Style: A single brooded species that flies in summer. It flies by day and night and comes to light. The larvae feed on fresh, withered and decaying leaves of Fragaria vesca, Potentilia sterilis, Pilosella officinarum, Senecio jacobaea or Taraxacum.

Identification: There are several colour forms of this species. Some are similar to C. rosaceana. C. rosaceana has an overall pink colour including the cilia.
