Status Morley’s Final Catalogue: A local species, feeding on Vaccinium which does not grow in Suffolk and Myrica which is rare here. Not observed since before 1890, when it was taken at Tuddenham in the Breck fens (Wrn).

Life Style: A single brooded day flying species. It flies in May and June. The larvae hibernate and feed on, Myrica, Vaccinium or Solidago virgaurea. They pupate in the spun leaves of the larval habitation.
Identification: The male does not have a costal fold. They forewings have an acutely angled apex. They are a light yellowish brown to a light greyish brown. They are speckled darker with some coalescing into fine broken fasciae. https://www.norfolkmoths.co.uk/micros.php?bf=9910 |
