Life Style: A double brooded species found in any of the warmer months of the year. A day flying species. The larvae feed from a web often folding the leaf of Urtica species or Parietaria, Pellitory-of-the-Wall. They pass the winter as a larva. They pupate in a cocoon in the larval habitation.

Identification: The nettle-tap is a small moth with a triangular shape stood high on its legs at rest. Like most species of the Choreutidae they are intricately marked, this species in shades of cream, brown, grey and olive green.
