Morley's Final Catalogue: Not listed. The first breeding record in the UK was in 1948, in Kent.

Recent Suffolk Status: First seen in Suffolk sometime between 1940 and 1960. Records increased from the 1960s onwards and now locally common in the county.

Life history: Single-brooded. Seen at light in small numbers. Larvae have been found in the county feeding on the seed heads of Sweet William in gardens.

Identification: Marbled coronet has an incomplete white band across the wing.

Habitat: Gardens, grasslands.

First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
