Recent Suffolk Status: Abundant across the county, sometimes appearing in large numbers in traps.

Life history: Double-brooded. Recorded right into November in Suffolk.

Identification: Setaceous Hebrew character has the obvious pale spot, lacking in Triple-spotted clay and Double square-spot.

Habitat: A wide variety of habitats including gardens.
