Recent Suffolk Status: Records in recent years from the Ixworth area are known to originate from to a deliberate release, possibly around 2014.

In 2019 several were noted at Bixley Heath, Ipswich in June (origins unknown but most likely a deliberate release as not in typical habitat), one was light-trapped at Bawdsey Hall on 24 June (M.J. Deans) followed by another at Ipswich Golf Course, Purdis Farm on 10 July (N. Sherman).
