Morley's Final Catalogue: No rarer than the last, often occurring in company. Raydon Wood, Hintlesham, Belstead, Bentley Woods, Ipswich, occasionally at Monks Soham light and in garden. Tuddenham (Sparke), Freckenham (Brown), Brandon (Mly). A long series at Bungay light (Mn), common at Flixton (Crf), Sotterly (Gd), Beccles (Mr), Weston, Gorleston (D).

Recent Suffolk Status: Local.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: Clouded silver is larger and has darker markings on the outer edge of the forewing.

Habitat: Woodland, scrub, gardens, hedgerows.

Recorded in 42 (72%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
