Morley's Final Catalogue: Wide spread in the east, only, of the county; local. Hadleigh in mid-May 1903 (Harwood, Ent. Rec. 1905, 267); Copdock in mid-July 1896 only (Hkg); Bentley (Ml) Woods, one in July 1895 (Baylis); Freston (Freeman); Hemely in 1906 (Wlr); Aldeburgh (Wrt). Needham (L) and Stowmarket (C). Recently singly at Gorleston (D, Mr).

Recent Suffolk Status: Extinct. No records for many years.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: White-banded carpet and Sharp-angled carpet do not have any green colouration in the dark bands.

Habitat: Hedgerows, woodland rides and lanes.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
