Recent Status: A rare species in Suffolk.

Life Style: A double brooded summer flying species. It flies at night and comes to light. The larvae feed from a spun folded leaf or two leaves spun flat together on Frangula and Rhamnus. The second brood larvae hibernate in a cocoon in which they then pupate. The cocoon may remain at the feeding location or fall to the ground.

Identification: This is a narrow winged species with a hooked apex. It is a brown species marked with darker brown and fuscous. The dorsal half of the wing has a dark basal patch followed by a triangular mark and small spot above the tornus. The patterning is complex, More Info
