Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: Plainer forms of Cloaked minor are similar but the forewing edge is less curved and the central cross lines are closer together. Middle-barred minor has broader forewings and is usually more patterned.

Habitat: Damp grassland, woodland rides, marshes.
