Morley's Final Catalogue: Generally distributed, and usually accounted somewhat common. Playford, Stowmarket, Waldringfield, Kessingland, Gorleston cliff garden.

Recent Suffolk Status: Fairly common.

Life history: Single-brooded. Emerges in June in Suffolk.

Identification: Flies later in the year than the Marbled, Tawny marbled and Rufous minors. Greyer in colouration than those species and the central cross band is narrower.

Habitat: Grassland, fens, gardens, scrubby areas.

Recorded in 49 (84%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
