Morley's Final Catalogue: Not recorded from the county in Morley's time. First UK record was in 1953.

Recent Suffolk Status: Very rare immigrant with only 2 records, both from Landguard, Felixstowe (N. Odin).

Life history: Single-brooded in Europe.

Identification: Unmistakeable. Much darker in colour than similar species.

Habitat: Open habitats in Europe.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.

Last Recorded in 2009.
