Morley's Final Catalogue: Not known from the UK in Morley's time. First UK record was in 1970 in Essex.

Recent Suffolk Status: Very rare immigrant. A single record from Bradfield Woods in 1991 (R. Eley). Resident locally in Kent.

Life history: Single-brooded.

Identification: Lacks the indent in the forewing of the two Peacock moths. Tawny-barred angle has an orange-brown outer band.

Habitat: Resident populations found in forestry plantations.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
