Morley's Final Catalogue: Mildenhall (Btn), Barton (Wrt) and among ivy at Tostock (Norgate), only in the west. Fairly frequent in the east at Copdock, Martlesham, Waldringfield, Shurbland Park, Needham, Finburgh, Leiston, Gorleston.

Recent Suffolk Status: Common.

Life history: Double-brooded.

Identification: Fairly readily identified, but note the green colour rapidly fades to yellowish.

Habitat: Woodland, hedgerows, gardens and parkland.

Recorded in 45 (78%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
