Morley's Final Catalogue: Everywhere fairly frequent from Ipswich to Fritton.

Recent Suffolk Status: Locally common in the Sandlings and Brecks with scattered records elsewhere.

Life history: Double-brooded.

Identification: Grey pine carpet normally lacks white edging to the central cross band. The dark cross band is also less indented on Grey pine carpet. Some examples can be difficult to seperate.

Habitat: Heathland, Pine plantations, gardens.

Recorded in 46 (79%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1940.
Last Recorded in 2023.
