Recent Suffolk Status: Rare immigrant and import to the UK. The sole county record of unknown origin was in Ipswich in July 1998 (J. Higgott).

Life history: Multi-brooded in the home range in the tropics.

Identification: The only UK species that is similar is Bordered gothic, which has more extensive cross lines.

Habitat: Various habitats in its native range. The Suffolk record was from an urban garden.
